Collaborators for the warehouse

I am going to find a professional designer for a logo and website for the warehouse.  I’m not cutting it on my own.  Honestly, trying to do everything by yourself is a mistake.  The beauty of the Internet is the ability to connect and bring in others to help.

I am almost finished with resurfacing the driveway . . . → Read More: Collaborators for the warehouse

Focus

I have printed out many chapters of AP Government work and I’m ready to go.  I am confident many of my students will pass the AP Government exam.  The trick is just to put in the hours and hours of study.  It’s a serious endeavor.

The value of a hard day’s work…

I sometimes miss the days when I’d sell and install plants around South Florida. When I see someone digging a ditch, I think back on those days when I’d be loading my truck after the sun had fallen.

It would be dark and I’d be picking up all the picks and shovels. Marcus would be helping me . . . → Read More: The value of a hard day’s work…

Code enforcement issues

Today I was awoken to find that Miami-Dade Code Enforcement did not appreciate the way I fixed up my backyard. The officer felt my grass was still too high. So I spent the day cutting and edging with my cousin Roger.

Now here’s the question. Is this the way the system operates? I . . . → Read More: Code enforcement issues

Tonight I’m playing with JSF and creating databases. It’s pretty fun!

I called the homeowner’s association, but . . . → Read More: Planning for Economics; fixing my house up!

Farmer’s market

I’m envisioning a farmer’s market / plant sale at the warehouse. I’ll need to contact lychee, mango, avocado, and citrus growers. Perhaps even the wine sellers?
Here are the questions I’ll need to answer:

What are the liabilities involved with a farmer’s market? I’ll need to speak to an attorney.
How can I get in touch with all the . . . → Read More: Farmer’s market

Exciting idea: Farmer’s Market in Kendall

Imagine a Farmer’s Market in the heart of Kendall. Nestled between Signature Gardens and Tamiami Airport will be Kendall’s Farmer’s Market.

For free, farmers would bring their fruits and vegetables to a field in West Kendall. We could sell cakes and goods.

I am going to contact a lawyer about liability, but I am curious about . . . → Read More: Exciting idea: Farmer’s Market in Kendall
