Delving into PHP

I’ve been fascinated by the power of PHP for a decade now but it’s only now that I have some exciting projects on tap.   Mock Congress is coming along nicely, I can’t wait to actually use it.

“Shooting an Elephant” by George Orwell

When teaching World History, I have always distributed “Shooting an Elephant” by Orwell as a first-hand account of European imperialism.  Since I had covered the chapter on imperialism, I read it during the week that I was going to cover Asian history during the 19th century.
